JOB FUNCTION:
As Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the production
of code
To satisfy a set of software requirements and undertake testing of
the software
Against requirements. Production of code in Real Time / Embedded &
C / C++
Software skills. Understanding of UM. ADA desireable. Background within
a
Manufacturing, safety critical environment ideal.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

JOB FUNCTION:
Software Engineer, Software Mapping Engineer, to undertake Software
activities
On current Maps programmes, supporting the SoftMap Lead Architech,
(Product
Development) in his product development role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Software Development, SoftMap product road map/s
* Develoopment of software solutions and costing for new product delivery
* Provide technical consultancy & product architechture direction
to the team
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION:
* Significant C coding experience, ideally in coding for embedded
systems
* UML - for Object oriented design
* Good understanding of software lifecycle from requirements capture
through to
Formal test and delivery
* Real- time embedded exp
* Computer graphics, using OpenGl or Direct X & graphic packages,
ie Paint Shop Pro
* Any knowledge of digital map systems, desirable as is exp RTCA -178B
and / or DEF-Stan 55/56
* Degree / HND Computer Science or related qualification
