Due to expansion there is now a vacancy for a Builder to join a successful
company based near Dover, Kent. As a Builder you will work in a small
team carrying out a variety of duties including painting, decorating,
carpentry, bricklaying, plastering, general maintenance of buildings
and working on a number of interesting new projects. Competitive salary
and benefits on offer, including pension + 24 days holiday
This position would suit a skilled maintenance builder who has undergone
training such as an NVQ or recognised apprenticeship, preferably with
knowledge of up-to-date Building Regulations and perhaps with some
factory experience.
This will require a physically fit person who is factory aware,
flexible and holds a full driving licence. A willingness to do overtime
is essential.
Hours of work are from 0745-1645 Mon-Thurs and 0745-1245 on Friday.

CIVIL ENGINEER

Experienced CIVIL ENGINEER required to manage the inspection of
structures such as bridges, tunnels and highways.
Role:
As the Civil Engineer you will be responsible for the routine inspection
of structures.
As part of the Civil Engineering team, you will programme future infrastructure
improvements and ensure they are efficiently managed.
Ensure the proper completion of method statements, risk assessments
and other statutory documents,
as well as ensuring conformity with all relevant legislation.
Produce and present reports as and when required, including those
related to specific individual projects where appropriate.
Prepare a monthly report on the progress of all projects to be presented
at the monthly management meeting.
Skills and experience
Experience of working within a service or engineering environment.
Experience of inputting information to engineering & maintenance
database,
preferably with a knowledge of Highway Agency database systems, for
example SMIS.
Experience of producing reports, project development and programming
skills.
Experience of using Microsoft Office software.
Member of an Engineering Institution, working towards chartered status.
